A dark, rich woody-oriental fragrance with oud, coffee, and spicy-amber depth. It feels more intense and mature than the original Layton, with a bold niche character. Best for autumn and winter, especially night wear and formal occasions. It is too heavy for hot weather. It has very strong longevity (10–12+ hours) with strong projection, especially in the opening hours. The scent opens with apple, bergamot, grapefruit, and almond, giving a slightly fruity but darker start. The heart becomes spicy and smoky with cinnamon, lavender, geranium, and oud, adding depth and a more animalic tone. The base is deep and long-lasting with vanilla, coffee, patchouli, sandalwood, leather, and oud, creating a warm smoky-sweet drydown.
