Description
A very fresh green-floral chypre fragrance that feels elegant, airy, and slightly vintage in character. It is built around a refined blend of lemon, green mandarin, rose, violet leaf, eucalyptus, musk, amber, vanilla, and patchouli, creating a scent that balances citrus freshness with soft floral-green depth.
It opens with a bright citrus burst of lemon and green mandarin, giving an immediate clean, zesty freshness that feels uplifting and slightly sparkling. This opening is crisp but smooth, not sharp or sour, and quickly transitions into a more complex floral-green heart.
The heart is where La Tosca becomes more unique: Bulgarian rose blends with violet leaf and eucalyptus, creating a cool, slightly minty-green floral effect. The eucalyptus adds a subtle aromatic freshness, while violet leaf gives a slightly metallic-green texture, making the fragrance feel airy, refined, and a bit “vintage salon elegance.”
In the drydown, amber, musk, vanilla, and patchouli appear, adding a soft warmth that smooths the composition and gives a slightly powdery, creamy finish. The scent becomes more intimate here while keeping its clean floral-green identity.
Performance is generally moderate to good, with above-average longevity and a soft to moderate projection that stays elegant rather than loud.
