A richer, deeper and more intense version of the original Baccarat Rouge 540. It keeps the same sweet amber-woody DNA, but feels darker, creamier, and more luxurious with added depth from bitter almond, saffron, jasmine, cedar, and ambergris. The result is a more “edible” and slightly cherry-almond style sweetness compared to the airy EDP. It opens with a bold saffron and bitter almond accord, giving a warm spicy-sweet and slightly metallic brightness. The heart develops into jasmine and woody amber richness, before drying down into a powerful base of ambergris, cedarwood, musk, and warm woody notes. The extrait feels denser, smoother, and more enveloping than the original. Performance is excellent: very long-lasting (10–12+ hours) with strong projection in the first hours and a heavy, persistent scent trail that stays close but noticeable for a long time.
